This is the laptop for business and professional use, offers less than 17 mm thickness and weighs 3.7 pounds. The Lenovo ThinkPad X1 is a new laptop aimed for business professionals but may also appeal to the consumer crowd. What gives it such an appeal is that it is one of the slimmest 13-inch ultraportable around, at least for one that comes with an Intel Core i3 or i5 processor.
The Lenovo Thinkpad X1 is also features up to 8 GB of memory and Gorilla Glass Corning for extra durability and scratch resistance. It also comes with RapidCharge battery technology that charges the battery up to 80 percent capacity in just 30 minutes.
Other features of this laptop includes HD built-in webcam, 1.4a HDMI Video output, touchpad and Trackpoint, Spill resistant keyboard backlight with Noise surpression keystroke technology, stereo speakers with Dolby Home Theater, USB 3.0 ports, and a fingerprint reader. The Lenovo ThinkPad Xi is now available at Lenovo and starts at a base price of US$1,400.
